The Construction Association of Michigan Workers’ Compensation Plan is a group self-insurance program designed for and operated by the construction industry.
It is governed by a Board of Trustees and provides workers’ disability compensation benefits to injured employees of Plan Participants.
Premiums not needed to pay claims, along with investment income, are returned to the CAMComp participant
The total program is designed to give participants a greatly improved loss control program and help minimize the cost of workers’ compensation claims. It also provides a mechanism for funding the workers’ compensation obligations of participating employers through self-insurance, mutual indemnification and excess insurance against catastrophic loss.
